Nourishing Your Soul

I sat today and reflected on the RESET session that occurred earlier today and honestly, everyone is going through A LOT! I wanted to write a newsletter that speaks to this time in your life and provides gentle reminders of ways to nourish yourself. Self care is no longer something that you can opt into on a bad day. It is an absolute necessity to move through life in these trying times. It's a way to cultivate wellness in your every day. Which you not only need, but deserve.

I hope you know, I am deeply committed to guiding you on this path of self- discovery, healing and wellness. Here are some of my favorite ways to deeply care for self. These are reminders for some and a brand new invitation for others.

1. Cultivating Mindfulness: Take a moment to pause and anchor yourself in the present moment. Practice mindfulness through activities such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or simply observing the world around you with curiosity and without judgment. Let each breath be a reminder of your inherent peace and resilience.

2. Nourishing Your Body: Treat your body as a sacred temple deserving of love and care. Fuel it with nourishing foods that energize and replenish you. Engage in gentle movement practices like yoga or tai chi to honor your body's need for movement and relaxation. And don't forget the power of rest —prioritize quality sleep to rejuvenate your body and mind.

3. Setting Boundaries: Learn to honor your own needs and set boundaries that protect your energy and well-being. Say no to activities or commitments that drain you, and unapologetically prioritize activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Remember, setting boundaries is an act of self-love and empowerment.

4. Connecting with Nature: Reconnect with the healing rhythms of nature by spending time outdoors. Take leisurely walks in the park, bask in the warmth of the sun, or simply sit in quiet reverence beneath a canopy of trees. Allow nature to be your guide as you rediscover the beauty and wonder of the world around you.

5. Cultivating Gratitude: Practice gratitude as a daily ritual, acknowledging the abundance and blessings present in your life. Keep a gratitude journal to record moments of joy, appreciation, and growth. Cultivating an attitude of gratitude opens your heart to the infinite possibilities for love and abundance. *this one may seem silly if you are in crisis but I promise it makes big shifts in your energy field!

6. Seeking Support: Remember that you are not alone on this journey. Reach out to trusted friends, family members, or professionals for support and guidance when needed. Vulnerability is a strength, and seeking support is an act of courage that allows you to receive the love and assistance you deserve.

7. Embracing Self-Compassion: Be gentle with yourself as you navigate the ups and downs of life. Embrace your imperfections with love and acceptance, knowing that you are worthy of compassion and kindness. Treat yourself with the same tenderness and understanding that you would offer to a dear friend in need.

As we embark on this journey of self-care together, may you find solace in knowing that you are deserving of love, healing, and abundant blessings. May these practices serve as gentle reminders of your inherent worth and divine essence.

P.S. I would love to hear from you! What are some of your favorite self-care practices?
